I think as a stand alone movie, it was pretty, exciting, and dramatic. But, when you put it up against the many, many episodes of the cartoon, it does fall short. But, you have to realize that if they put as much detail as was needed in the first movie, you would have been in the theaters for at least four hours.
Some of the acting was good, but some of that acting was not so good. To truly love this movie though, you would have to forget the tv series all together.

And though the fans were disappointed, this opened a new, interesting word for those who have never seen Aang before.

I really liked the air bender avatar, we’ve been asking if part 2 has came out, really…. Would enjoy seeing the sequel awesome movie. My son is a third degree black belt, I see so much of his training moves in this movie, he started at age 8 and now is in his 30′s

I think its one of the best movie seen I watch it all the time and there not alot of movie’s I do watch over again and so wot if its not like the carton gess wot its not a carton thank god its agreat movie and I no alot of people that think the same

I just watched the first one, and am looking foward to the second one. My boyfriend and i were just talking about how bad as* it would be. More action and drama with some love scenes .

I want them to make a second avatar so much i love the 1st one i wanted to see more and i would see it the day it comes out.My parents and I watched it and we wanted to watch a second one but my mom told me they didn’t make one.So if the movie director reads this I am asking to finish the sequeal.

I think that the lines shouldnt be so cheesy and if they weren’t ment to sound that way that is the way it came across. Also i think if the actors should look more like the characters in the animated show. I really like this show and love the idea of turning it into a movie so if the actors/actresses would act a lil more like their characters and less cheesy, that would be great.

Me and my girls liked this movie too!!!!!!!!!!! we hope they make a sequal too, got to see how it ends!!!!!!!!! Never watched the cartoon either (daughter said it was stupid) Movie was great!!!!!!!!
