I THINK 3-D IS THE GREATEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO TV, WHO DOESN,T WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOUR REALLY PART OF THE MOVIE. IT,S FOR SURE A THRILL RIDE, AND ONE WE CAN TAKE WHENEVER WE WANT. ONE POINT THAT WAS MADE, AND I REALLY DO AGREE WITH WAS……THE FILM HAS TO BE SHOT IN 3-D ORIGINALLY, TAKING ANY MOVIE AND TRYING TO REDO IT IN 3-D, JUST DOESN,T MAKE IT. WENT TO THE THEATRE TO SEE “TITANIC”, IN 3-D. GODD BUT NOT GREAT. TO ALL MOVIE STUDIOS, DIRECTORS ECT. FILM IT IN 3-D TO BEGIN WITH, NOT LATER.

My 3d tv doesn’t give the pop outs i expected like in the theater, plenty of depth but to much money in my opinion for equipment and movies just for HD and more depth movies. I want stuff flying around the room like advertised and the way I saw them at the theater, instead they float within the tv frame. Disappointed me.

3D TV is one of the greatest things to come along in quite a while. I have 41 3D movies in my collection of over 1300 movies and am looking forward to many more 3D movies to add to my collection. I bought a 73″ 3D TV and it is better than going to theator. I can watch the movies in comfort and no unnecessary disturbances. As faras I’m concerned it’s the greatest thing to come along in quite a while.

I have to agree, Hugo is one of the best 3D films I’ve ever seen. I upgraded my computer to play stereoscopic 3D and got a Samsung 55″ D8000 for under $1500 and I gotta say that Hugo in 3D looked amazing and really made the film come to life. I love 3D! And sports broadcast in 3D is def the future.

I wish everyone would stop knocking 3D. If it gives you a headache, then don’t watch it, simple as that! There are actually some of us who completely enjoy 3D. My recent favorite is Hugo by Martin Scorsese. I find that the 3D adds a depth to the movies and makes it more realistic. One of the many reasons I actually went out and got a 3D TV.

Just wondering if those of you that say digital conversion ruins the 3-D experience really know what you are talking about. True, poor digital conversion can do that, but when a top-rate company using top-of-the line conversion software and experienced digital artists do the job, it is generally better than those filmed in 3-D. I think you must have just seen some of the poorly done conversions.

Hey how could you forget “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” surely I’m not the only one thinking it’ll be the best 3D movie of 2012 !!! Whether it proves successful or not, I believe it will be the first 3D film to be shot in 48 frames/sec…
