Clash Of The Titans – Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for the Clash Of The Titans remake has arrived. If you’re a fan of slow motion jumps and slow motion falls you’re in for a treat.
Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) gets seriously cheesed off when the vengeful god of the underworld Hades (Ralph Fiennes) bumps off his family. He volunteers to lead a band of warriors on a dangerous mission to stop Hades seizing power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleashing hell on earth. On the long journey Perseus battles unholy demons, fearsome beasts and occasionally takes a break for water.

You barely get a glimpse of leading man Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson or Ralph Fiennes in the teaser. It’s definitely a trailer cut for MTV, with rock the main focus. But it looks like a solid effort so far.
Remember the Titans was a serious disappointment, with a lot of irrelevant touchdowns, hopefully this time they can deliver. Directed by Louis ‘The Terrier’ Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), Clash of the Titans opens March 26, 2010.
P.S. Is anyone else wondering why Jason Flemyng only gets cast as monstrous freaks these days? League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen (giant deformed hunchback), From Hell (simpleton hunchback), this (large deformed hunchback) -

Well I feel well and truly teased.
Looks very LOTR to me is it done by WETA?
Was Fiennes in the trailer? There was someone very Voldermort like at 0:58 seconds.
Good looking movie, horrible tagline. Strange choice of music. But I’m looking forward to this now, and I wasn’t before. Us swashbuckler fans are getting spoiled with this and Prince of Persia! I know this is more sword and sandal, but the rollicking adventure/cheesefactor combo means it’s in the same ballpark.
Jason Flemyng was pretty normal in Benjamin Button by the way, even if he did sire an anachronologically ageing Brad Pitt…
Oh, and, the song in the trailer is sung by a guy named Bert McCracken. McCracken. Kraken.
@Thom FiennesWatch – I believe he’s the guy standing on the water in the second picture down.
Seriously, Clash of the Titans looks baddass. I love Liam Neeson and the fact that he’s playing Zeus just makes me smile.
Can’t wait for March
