People are going to start thinking I’m obsessed with this movie or something…
Twilight Saga: New Moon’s reign over the sweating thighs of prepubescent girls has finally come to an end! In America at least, where Sandra Bullock’s The Blind Side, where a rich white woman buys a pet black guy adopts an orphan managed to top the weekend box office in its third week of release. The vaguely racist movie took $20 million over the weekend, while Stephenie Meyer’s fanfiction made a scant $15 million.

In the international box office, however, New Moon stills tops the charts for the third week in a row, bringing the film’s worldwide total to a mind-melting $570 million. If you’ve still not seen the fastest-grossing comedy train wreck of the year, you can watch the whole sorry in mess in just over one minute:
The Natalie Portman/ Tobey Maguire/ Jake Gyllenhaal-starring Brothers (hint: it’s about brothers) opened up in third place with a respectable $9.7 million. Not bad considering the competition.
The US top five is rounded out by Jim Carrey Looks Terrifying in Eight Different Roles: A Christmas Carol ($7 million) and Old Dogs ($6 million).

The only reason the blind side topped New Moon was because it is a football movie and everyone knows th eworld evolves around that sport. I personally think The Twilight Saga is the best even though it may be topped by some other movie..
Blind Side hit number one because of all the dudes that took their chicks to see New Moon…the whole I’ll take you if you go with me to this…
