George Clooney To Star In Gravity

Well, co-star. Clooney is set to replace Robert Downey Jr in the Alfonso Cuaron sci-fi drama, in which Angelina Jolie Natalie Portman Sandra Bullock will star as a woman attempting to return to her children on Earth after a series of disasters in orbit.
As loveable as Robert Downey Jr is, this is arguably quite the upgrade. Clooney’s recent work has been incredible consistent and often very impressive. Clooney will play the team leader of a space station, the only other disaster survivor alongside Bullock’s character
I’m not really sold on Bullock for this movie though…it doesn’t help that she’s like the sixth choice or something.
Want to know the kind of awesome we have to look forward to? Behold an amazing (and very spoilerish) scene from Children of Men, Alfonso Cuaron’s last sci-fi outing, here.

Children Of Men is a hell of a movie. I really hope Cuaron shoots this in a similar style, it would be dynamite.
I was sad when RDJ dropped out, but as you say Clooney is quite the upgrade. The American, Up in the air, and The men who stare at goats were all awesome. He’ll do well in this.
