A teaser poster has been released for the follow up to the hit animation Despicable Me (that’s the evil genius movie with Steve Carrell becoming a father figure with Pharrell playing in the background, not the one where Will Ferrell is blue and has a big head). You didn’t even know there was going to BE a sequel, did you? Well, now you do. Thanks to the teaser poster. Totally successfully teasing the existence of the movie.
How’s that? Okay, it’s quite possibly the most obvious teaser image the movie could possibly have had. Excited yet? Hopefully Pharrell is back for more in the sequel, though one has to wonder – how despicable can Gru be now? He mellowed out a bit first time around…

It’s been a while since we’ve had a v sign to denote a sequel, interesting to see it back in play. I think it was two decapitated fingers for Saw 2. Ghostbusters 2 was the forefather. Winston Churchill before that.
My kids will be very excited at this news. It’s my 6 yr old’s favourite DVD, I think he must have watched it at least 30 times!
There’s only two ways theis can go IMO
1) The children are kidnapped forcing Gru to resort back to devious methods to save them
2) It’s a prequel
I’m not sure number two is very likely. It would mean they would lose Agnes and she was one of the best characters
The 1st was a Bomb, i’m pretty sure d 2nd will Blow my mind with laughter, either way i’m really hyped to see those yellow minions on screen again. So Guess Paratuyi Papoy
Naff poster but great first film, lets hope they go down the Toy Story 3 route
whats a teaser
The teaser poster is the simply-designed poster they put out first, before the much more detailed poster comes several months later.
