This is looking really good, Indy has aged but aged well and he still looks like he’d kick your arse for supping on his cold beer after a long day of snake dodging and Nazi whupping.

I, like Twistedmango, was wondering how well Harrison Ford would fit the bill being that he is so old now, but it suits him perfectly.

The trailer was a bit lacking, more of a teaser.

I am looking forward to this one. As a child, my cousins and I played Indiana Jones in the woods behind my home, taking vines off of trees as whips. The stationary boulder in the woods was either a dinosaur skull, ancient idol, or the rolling boulder from the first film.

As a testiment of my fanhood, out of the last 3 times I have been to Disney World in Florida, I have been in teh Indian Jones show all 3 times as an extra :)

Jamison I totally respect your fandom. What does an extra do in the show? Sounds like you’ve been training for it your whole life.

Spielberg hasn’t made a bad film in a long time, so his involvement alone should give us faith that Indy 4 will be a lot of fun.

Did anyone else recognize the room with all the crates from Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Yup. Also the glasses being sucked onto a container marked Roswell, aka Area 51, aka aliens.

Russians after ancient alien technology? Sure, why not.

Does it bother anyone else how he managed to elbow the two men out of that truck?

Area 51 scared me at first, thought the movie was going to be cheesy, but it dawned on me that the large warehouse that the ark was put in COULD have been area 51…. a warehouse there or something…?

As for the ease of which the nazis fell out of the truck after an elbow hit, thats what makes the indiana jones films so wonderful’ comicbook-esque action, where anythign is possible. :)

Interesting point, is the warehouse from Raiders in Area 51? Do we see where it’s located in the first film, I can’t remember?

Not sure. Cant remember. And doubt you can see in the first film. But, it is a theory. And makes sense. I just hope aliens aren’t in the movie.

I know it may be sacrilege to say this in a forum like this, bt I hope Lucas keeps his hands out of this new movie as much as possible. He milks things till they are dry and then some and feel like CGI is the best thing since shaving cream. I am starting to miss movies with real explotions and models made to look big. Heck, I think I have been so sarturated with special effects that some stop-motion claymation may actually be refreshing to me. At least that stuff looked real.
