Men In Black III – New Trailer

Will Smith is looking a bit dated and 44-year-old Josh Brolin is pretending to be a 29-year-old Tommy Lee Jones. It can only be the new Men In Black III trailer.
The creativity and imagination is still there, at least on the basis of this trailer. I suppose time travel does give it somewhere new to go, though heading into space would seem a better fit. Can’t help thinking the entire plot was devised because Tommy Lee Jones didn’t want to be there, the reality is supposedly it was Will Smith’s idea, which he put to the director ten years ago. Might the film suffer from losing the actual Lee-Jones/Smith back and forth for 90% of its running time? Hard to say, it didn’t exactly help the second movie a whole lot.
Similiarly there’s still no sign of Rip Torn as Zed, amid conflicting reports whether he’s in it. The IMDB page only lists someone else playing “Dead Zed” so there’s your clue. Rip Torn has had minor personal problems, like being arrested for drunken bank robbery, but his presence will be missed here.
I’m going to hazard a guess that, given it’s 1969, man’s landing on the moon will be a key part of the plot too. I imagine they’ve left that out of the trailer because rewritten moon history has been thoroughly covered by Transformers: Dark Of The Moon and Apollo 18 in the past eight months.
Check out the teaser trailer here. The movie will be released in 3-D on May 25th around the world. Will you be seeing it?

I like the look of the trailer. Story and plot look fairly interesting although I thought Will Smith had moved on from this type of role now.
It’s about time they came out with another MIB movie. I can’t wait to see it. Tommy Lee does look a little older in the trailors. But I love the how the young agent K has the same demeanor.
Plot was excellent!!! Can’t be any better! I’ve watched the previous MIBs and I wasn’t that impressed with the second one. But this one surely deserves applause. Both Will Smith and Tommy Lee have become so mature. Great fun at Wave Cinemas!!!
Saw the movie a couple of weeks back. It’s good, I enjoyed it. Definitely better than the second one.
