The Avengers is out in the UK on the 26th, and in the US a week later. We’ve already seen it, and we loved it. Here are a few new clips that hint as to why.
Iron Man vs. Thor -
After being captured, Loki is put in the Hulk’s old cage and given a reading from Ezekiel 25:17 -
Thor and Captain America fighting together, one invincible, one not -
Tony Stark tells Loki what he’s up against (all the superheroes that aren’t licensed to Sony or Fox) -
Great stuff. It’s interesting how much this has gradually overshadowed The Dark Knight Rises, which almost no one is talking about any more. I’m sure that will change before it’s released a few weeks later, but right now the summer is The Avengers‘ to rule.
Can’t wait to see this! It going to be a massive hit in our cinemas & on DVD soon.
Samuel L. Jackson is just SUCH a bad actor these days. He’s just doing a dramatic reading while everyone else is actually acting. It’s going to be the Achilles heal of the movie.
That said, all this dialog seems great but I just can’t get over the bad CG villains and that “action” clip was balls. Also, seeing them just sit around in chairs while in full uniform just makes me laugh.
Can’t wait for this!

Sam Jackson is SUCH a GREAT actor. Until you have seen the movie, don’t make blanket comments. You can’t base your statement off of 15 seconds.

Looks like i may have under estimated thors ability.From the clip i saw of thors fight with the ironman it would appear thors a lot stronger than i thought with out the hammer.
Yeah I’m interested to see how they’re going to put Thor in danger, as he looks pretty invincible here. I don’t think it’s as literally as he drops the hammer a few feet away and becomes less powerful, since he’s throwing it all the time (but I might be wrong).
