BWWWWWOOOOOWWWW! A spectacular new international trailer for Prometheus has been released. Warning: contains spoilers.
The anticipation for the Alien prequel has been building for quite some time now, with the marketing campaign steadily rolling out new footage and character spots.
It really does recapture the atmosphere of the Alien movies. Dark, creepy, futuristic, Ridley Scott at his very best.
While it does look amazing, and I can’t wait… how much of this stuff do we really need? Does it make you more excited to see the finished movie, or do you just find it annoying (especially the BWWWWWOOOOOWWWWW! Sound effects)?
Prometheus is out in the UK on June 1st, and the US on June 8th.
This is just the beginning before “NOSTROMO”, when “PROMETHEUS” landed on the inhabited planet breed an alien species.
This will jump you right out the edge of your seat, in space no one can hear you scream…. This time.
The dialog seems pretty … well let’s just say it. BAD.
This is really beginning to feel like a huge episode of Fringe.
Also, anyone else bugged by how this is a prequel yet the technology seems sleeker, faster, BETTER than the tech seen in Alien?
Well the reason is that Alien is about ‘space truckers’ whereas this is about a state-of-the-art exploratory vessel.
However it doesn’t really explain why everything looks much more advanced here than in Aliens.
Looks like Prometheus rams the space jockey ship to stop it heading for Earth; interesting backstory to Alien.
Hope the wait hasn’t been in vain. Can’t wait for the 1st of June.
Stoked for this film.But it is vary much like the book mountain of madness none the less still cant wait.
