We had a look at some cool concept art from Vin Diesel’s forthcoming Riddick sequel, but now we have our first real look at the movie itself.
Honestly, this could be Vin Diesel at a barbeque, but we’re assured it’s not, he posted on Facebook:
“A still from the Riddick set this year. We are in post and I can’t tell you how excited I am to see it manifest. You all were such a part of it becoming a reality – willed it into being, so to speak…”
“P.S. Filming Fast this summer is going to be incredible. Thank you again for the opportunity to make magic.”
Are you excited for more Riddick? He’s to be hunted by none other than Battlestar Galactica‘s Katee Sackhoff this time around:

I feel they should have gone with something more homoerotic.
He’s not just being chased by Katee Sackhoff, she also has a role of sellotape.
It’s been a long time since riddick played by vin diesel, can’t wait to see that one!
I hope this follows on properly from the second film, where it finnished with him being the new unexpected leader of the necromongers.
