Still six months till Quentin Tarantino’s slavery western Django Unchained debuts and the press materials are starting to come thick and fast. After the quotes and pictures the other day, the first trailer is now upon us and, by Jove, if QT’s latest ain’t looking less A Fistful of Dynamite than it is Black Dynamite.

So what do we all get for our money? Well, there’s DiCaprio sipping on a coconut as slave owner Calvin Candie, and Jamie Foxx being first buff and ‘fro’d as the titular Django, before switching to lethal and flamboyantly attired. There’s also Christoph Waltz as King Schultz, the bounty hunter who liberates Django, and some funkily honking ‘70s soundtrack cuts.
