Toy Story 4 Confirmed?

Columbia news site claims Disney and Pixar have given the fourth installment the green light, looking to a 2015 release.
We’re remaining cautious about this one for several reasons, but according to news site Terra and the Twitter feed of Jorge Luis Balaguera – entertainment coordinator for Radio Station RCN – work on the sequel is full steam ahead.
Balaguera’s Tweet read: ”In 2015, Pixar will release Toy Story 4, the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack confirmed for the main characters”
This certainly isn’t the first we’ve heard of a possible fourth instalment in Pixar’s most cherished franchise. Back in 2011, Tom Hanks said that the studio was interested in doing a follow-up to the acclaimed threequel. “The spirit afoot is to make a forth,” was his wording, to be precise.
The team over at Hypable say they’ve been in contact with Disney, which said that it’s “investigating the source of this information in South America as nothing has been officially announced” So it sounds like nothing is being denied outright, either. Interesting.
So why are we refusing to get excited yet? Honestly, Toy Story 3 had a beautiful finality to it. It really felt like the franchise – much like Andy – had grown up, and that Pixar was ready to put it to bed. Furthermore, nothing was mentioned in Pixar’s recent announcement about future projects, except that Pete Docter has an upcoming, untitled movie (currently referred to as “The Inside Out“) that’s also slated for a 2015 release. This might not tell us much, but it’s unlikely we would see two big Pixar released the same year. It certainly hasn’t happened before.
We’ll update as we hear more. Until then, we’re going to start rumours about possible titles. Current favourites include A Good Day to Toy Story and Toy Story: Back 2 Tha Hood.
