So continues my Midnight Movie Madness video series here on Movie-Moron, where I’m breaking down the latest releases with a look at their background, and my take on whether they’re any good:

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is out now in the US and UK.

Great review. I thought Joseph Gordon-Levitt was magnetic in the role, and much of the movie was great, but the balance of stories felt a bit off, the plot with the Dame was too by the numbers and the finale with Alba felt flat. Visually it was still amazing, but hadn’t really changed after 9 years of cgi advances. It was pretty apparent they had used the best material in the first movie. But worth a watch nonetheless.
