Family entertainer Tim Allen was arrested in 1978 at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport for possession of over 650g (1.4lb) of cocaine. He subsequently pleaded guilty, and provided the names of dealers in exchange for a reduction in his sentence from a possible life imprisonment to a possible 3 to 7 years. He was paroled in 1981 after serving 28 months in a Federal Correctional Institution in Minnesota.
