“You have balls of steel. Literally.”
Behold the power of fanboys. According to Movie Hole, Warner Bros. ordered script changes for the fourth Terminator film after the original “twist ending” was leaked a few months back.
McG himself has confirmed an earlier draft of the script had John Connor die at the end and his skin placed on top of Sam Worthington’s robot character in order to … um … help people keep the faith, or, something.
Now it’s claimed that WB ordered a new ending specifically because it hit the net and fans raged against the notion of a robotic John Connor. The new ending is reportedly “a complete [180] from the original film. Works better. Probably not as hard to swallow. Real good though”.
Terminator Salvation wanders into theaters la-da-da-da-da on May 21st.

“This writer’s dead, get me another one.”
What are your thoughts? Do you love the original ending or are you glad they changed it?

The original ending sounds good to me. We’ll see if this new one matches it. If the new one is that good, surely they would have thought of it in the first place?
