Hey there, i am really wanting to see the movie. Will Smith is really great! I have loved his movies like I am legend and I, robot. He always has something new to do! Will smith rocks!!
While I know this movie will not be everyone’s “cup of tea” (or burbon), I thought it was vert well done. A sort of Romeo and Juliet meets …?????
It had enough twists and turns, humor, and “chick stuff”, so it covers a broad spectrum. But it does it well!!
As most of the audience, I applauded at the end.
Thanks for a fun 2 hours!!
This was certainly not my “cup of tea” at all and even I would admit I like some rubbish films.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Will Smith as much as the next guy, but I hope he didn’t turn down a better script to do this.
The twist was obvious and rather poor, especially as it made the ending difficult to undertsand.
First half decent, second half lacking.
With all the ‘bad’ review this movie is getting it has become the movie to see. Compare this movie to other movies that received good reviews (Love Guru – yeck) – everyone always cheers for the underdog. If this movie is so bad, why was it made and why was Will Smith in it? Will Smith does not make bad decisions. It’s a dude movie vs SATC which was the chick flick for the summer.
First half of the movie was good. They should have stopped there cause the ending made no sense.
What expecting alot of one liners
Just had the unfortunate opportunity to spend hard earned $$ on this movie. The premise seemed very intriguing and fresh and was looking forward to a Real Man’s super hero. But the characters are not developed at all beyond the obvious. The movie alludes to all sorts of things that the viewer is to take for granted but in the end I had no interest in the characters at all. The relationship Between two of the characters is not developed at all and we have no understanding where HANCOCK truly comes from or the friends that were talked about. How bout a little imagination and at least have some flashback of their relationship over 3000+ years, why he become mortal around her, and WHO is always getting to HANCOCK through her. The music was the only redeeming feature of this movie but I do not see any info on the artists that were used. HANCOCK does not like to be called an A$$hole but I sure felt like an A$$Hole for spending my money to watch and not care about the characters.
I suffered a lot. This movie makes it hard for an arm amputee to believe that Spielberg and Berg cynically piss on disability. This movie was an absolute nightmare to watch in a cinema.
