Wanted looks like chaotic, frenetic fun. Here’s a full 7 minute extract, starting with Angelina Jolie introducing herself to James McAvoy, then spiraling into an absolutely mad car chase.

Does anybody else have a problem with McAvoy’s American accent?…

Wish they had cast a more interesting actor as the villain (he was bland in Next and this looks like more of the same).

Wanted won’t be a smash hit, because it’s a summer tentpole movie based on material the public has no pre-awareness of (see Stealth and The Island). Let’s hope it breaks even.
