David Carradine Found Dead

The BBC are reporting that Kill Bill star David Carradine has been found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok.
The 72-year-old was in Thailand filming his latest film Stretch, according to his personal manager.
Early indications are that it could be a possible suicide, but we know from these situations that the first accounts are often misleading. In fact, this is exactly what happened in Heath Ledger’s case.
Born in 1936, David Carradine was the eldest son of the great character actor John Carradine, and the brother of Keith Carradine and Robert Carradine. He won acclaim for his roles in Bound for Glory (1976), The Long Riders (1980), TV series Kung Fu, Americana (1983), and North and South. He’ll be best remembered as the titular character in Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol 1 and Kill Bill: Vol 2, a role which secured him his fourth Golden Globe nomination
This is without doubt a great loss.

This is sad. Kung Fu was a kick ass show
wow I am really shocked…loved Kung Fu when I was growing up. Wonder why he did this?
Wow… so Bill killed Bill, eh?
Death from wanking. May he rest in peace.
at least Carradine got a lot of living in before he passed on, RIP
I’m still curious to learn more about the manner of Carradine’s death. I hope the new book “David Carradine: The Eye of My Tornado” addresses that topic. Carradine should be remembered best as a great actor, though, above all else.
