“I don’t know when, but it’s going. [There will] absolutely be The Mummy 4.” So says Maria Bello, who plays the new (and improved?) Evelyn in Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
Bello says she’s looking forward to three more Mummy movies, revealing she’s already signed on for the Mummy 4, 5 and 6. Luke Ford, who plays son Alex, is also signed for three more. Of course, it all depends on the gross of the latest instalment.
The Mummy has become increasingly globe-trotting. With the third movie set firmly in the Far East, the question is where will The Mummy 4 head off to next? Bello wants it to “take place in the Amazon”, while director Rob Cohen says “We now have it clear that the Mummy franchise can travel. If we want to go to Mexico or we want to go to Peru, we can because there’s a cultural truth there of the mummies and these beautiful cultures… The Aztec culture had a lot of mummies. I think that somehow that might make the basis of a good story.”
Where would you like The Mummy 4 to be set? In Mayan culture? Perhaps voodoo themed? Back in Egypt?
There is also an, unsubstantiated, rumour that the Alex character is being geared up to replace his father Rick (Brendan Fraser) as the main focus of the series.
Should Alex take over the franchise and leave parents Rick and Evey at home?

We need Stephen Summers back. The Mummy franchise has gone down hill and his Scorpion King, after the first one it got worse.
it wont be the same watching the movie without brendan fraser in the lead role. rick’s a very essential character.
get ardeth, old imhotep and old Evy back and to old place(Egypt),

I agree – Mummies mean Egypt. You have the whole story to change but Egypt and the cast have to be the same.
there isn’t any plans for future films any more, it’s getting the reboot treatment.
The first two are the best
The original evy i miss her she was fun also you cant do a mummy 4 without Brendan Fraser also i like the idea with aztec culture im chilean n mexican i would love to see aztec mummies or inca mummies please make fourth though i want my son to watch this amazing franchise
I really want the old Evy back, first of all the new Evy sucks, i mean, she doesn’t live the role, she doesn’t have the charming appearance that we’ve gotten used to, and changes to a series like the mummy really isn’t accepted, it’s like remaking Indiana Jones with Arnol Schwarzenegger as Indie.
I’ve always loved the Mayan and Aztec colture so i say go for that !
You should bring back emotep or whatever how you spell his name lol but bring him back I loved the other movies. I didn’t care much for the third one. Bring him back and make it more interesting make it his reincarnation or something or have someone bring him back from the underworld with the books ik they have played Egypt too much but there can’t be a mummy without it being in Egypt. I just can’t wait to see what the next movies are going to be about.
Like all three mummy movies, great action and great affects. Would like the mummy to return to Egypt, because of the great Egyptian culture, must return to Egypt. But really liked The tomb of the Dragon Emperor, china also is amazing!!!!!!

I think that Rachel Weiz and Maria Bello to be in The Mummy 4 with Brendon Fraser and Harrison Ford will like to join The Mummy 4 with Don Cheadle and Cedric The Entertainer in The Mummy 4 with the son of Alex
I think that The Mummy 4 will start in 2013 in October
The mummy will be out by 2014. It will be directed by Len wiseman. Not surer how I feel about the director but I’m excited. I’m only commenting on this page to tell you there is no mummy 4, it’s going to be a reboot.
Mummy 4..Revenge Of Imotep…
Imotep returns, and is resurrected to help Brendan and Rache to help ldefeat the scorpion king once and for all
I think if they make more mummy movies without Brendon Fraser as the main character I don’t think I’ll watch em!!! He’s the franchise star in these movies! It would really piss me off if they cast him aside!!! And I agree imhotep should make a return either to fight with or against the O’Connell’s that would be a hell of a movie!!!
