Get your Tropic Thunder clips here. Ben Stiller’s got a patchy record as director – Reality Bites, The Cable Guy, Zoolander – but everything about this looks like comedy gold.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“A group of self-absorbed actors set out to make the most expensive war film. After ballooning costs force the studio to cancel the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they encounter real bad guys.”

Clip 1: Kirk (Robert Downey Jnr), pretending to be an African-American, makes a point about characters like Rain Man and Forrest Gump – they never go “full retarded”, they always have some special skill.*

Clip 2: While arguing over Speedman’s (Ben Stiller) abilities as a “one man g.p.s.”, Kirk (Robert Downey Jnr) forgets his own ethnic background.

Clip 3: Speedman (Ben Stiller) is worried Kirk (Robert Downey Jnr) might derail the movie.
