In every other movie on this list, only the people sweat. So Alien is alone as the one movie where everything sweats. The walls sweat, the alien sweats, the coolant towers sweat, everything sweats! I’m sure I’d be sweaty as well if an alien had burst through my crewmember’s chest, but I think I’d have trained my own spaceship well enough that it could keep its cool. The sweatiest moment of the film is the one shot where Ripley is peeking above the hatch and all we can see is her sweat-infested hand. It’s a very specific moment, but once you see it, you’ll never think of sweat the same way again.
Honorable Mention: The Matrix Reloaded
I take it porn films were left out of the running because I could tell you some titles!!!

Yeah, pornos were left off limits. I mean, if they were in the running, then Caligula would have to be in the running.
THE DESCENT?
It’s true, that movie is a sweatfest. Me and my roommate just watched it the other night, it turned him into a little girl. It was his first viewing.

Yeah, something like that happens. Overall, the rest of the movie isn’t really that important.

How about Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt or Cool Hand Luke. Both deserve some perspiration recognition.
