Transformers 3 – Sequel Plans

There has been much Transformers 3 talk in the last few days, so what has been said and what could we expect from a sequel?
Transformers 3 hasn’t been officially announced but we all know it’s coming, and Michael Bay said on the red carpet this week that if it’s given the go ahead he will do it, despite recent rumors to the contrary. The dispute will likely come down to when it happens. “You’ve got to give it some time, I need a little rest,” said Bay. Indeed when Paramount and Dreamworks annouced last month that they had already set a release date – July 1, 2011 – Bay reacted angrily and demanded it be placed a year later.
Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox have both said they would like to return, as long as there is some sort of break in between. LaBeouf has his take on where Transformers 3 would go, “I think it will be darker, something crazy will happen, somebody’s got to die,” he said. “First movie the war was on our turf, the second was international, I think the next will be more of an intergalactic thing.”
You won’t be seeing it in 3-D. Earlier this year Bay called the technology a “gimmick” and said it wouldn’t feature in the next Transformers because it’s too constraining for his run-and-gun style of filmmaking. Shame.
As for the Dinobots, Bay wasn’t keen on getting them into the second movie but the search is always on for fresh territory and they’re running out of obvious new directions. The writers, if they stay on, say they would like to get the Dinobots in. Personally I think a few defective autobots scanning displays in a natural history museum will take care of the origins, it’s not difficult.
The writers have also expressed a strong interest in Galvatron (the ‘re-born’ form of a destroyed Megatron) and Unicron (the planet-sized transformer from the original animated movie) although the latter obviously presents a huge logistical problem – how is Shia LaBeouf going to battle an enemy the size of a planet?
What do you want to see happen in Transformers 3? Should Michael Bay direct? Which new characters do you want to see? Leave your plot ideas in the comments.

i think transformers 2 tried too hard to be funny in parts that never even had to be put in the movie.
an example of this would be when Sam’s parents take him to school and his mom ate the brownies. its irrelevnt and not needed, also adding nothing to the plot. however some of the comic relief was nice it just needed to be cut down in my oppinion. and edited so unneeded parts werent added.
im thinkin that the third movie should possibly involve dinobots and unicron. he eats the planet the dinobots are settled on and a group of them survive on unicron until he aproaches earth they leave unicron and land on earth bumblebee and shia(whatever his name was in the movie)
go for a joy ride and spot the dinobots landing on earth the dinobots seem hostile but they are just afraid optimus calms them down and gets the info of unicron from them they do what ever and blow up unicron.
THE END
i think the movie was the best his done yet but too have a three will be a blast think a about it lot more bot good and bad like hotrod in the 2 movie side swipe slash sideway in two that was cool bumble bee tareind the dog in two sweet all up in the air
i thought the whole movie was great.. the only thing i didnt like about transfomers 2 was how it didnt really focaus on some of the autobots to know who they were. and out of the robots it only focused on some of them. i wish i could have seen more of that new concept corvet or some of the ones in the first movie more. and to see them in more battles
I loved the first movie, and IO have not seen number two yet. I know I will love it. I was a lover of the 80’s cartoon and original movie. I would to see Wheeljack in the third installment. He was my favorite autobot.
i just saw the movie last night and i enjoyed it, the only thing that i would like to have happen was to have the names of the autobots and decraption. also i would have liked for more of the autobots because they were outnumbered in the last battle,
Everything from the G1 cartoons is present: space bridges, energon (the real reason why they autobots/decepticons are here), Matrix of Leadership, death and resurrection of Prime and other cool G1 mentions. The movie did have its problems as the jokes that worked in part 1 are not needed in Revenge. Bay and the writers should have worked a middle ground as Terminator Salvation was far too dark and Revenge is just plain silly in spots! Again, this is a popcorn movie and not an Oscar contender so check your expectations at the door. It went a little overboard and Bay just needs to reign things in more to make it more effective…..but the Prime scenes are a sight to behold! Even the departures from Transformers lore is acceptable and well done such as a new interpretation on the name of Prime and the Matrix.
Transformers Part 3 needs Galvatron as he got his head handed to him by a Matrix merged Prime and the only one that can grant that body is Unicron who will no doubt be angry that The Fallen (the renegade creation of Primus/Cybertron that sided with his evil twin, The Chaos Bringer – Unicron) has died. If Prime must sacrifice himself then you need either Hot Rod or Grimlock to lead the Autobots!
Transformers 3 – The autobots need more big guys also – Alpha Omega? Metroplex? Fortress Maximus? Aerial bots?
And more bad mofo’s like Ultra Magnus/Sun Streaker/Mirage/
well if they go with unicron Optimus Prime has to die (again) to make way for Rodimus Prime
just imagine a character like blurr, voiced by someone annoying like zach braff as a new york taxi cab with beaded seat covers.
has to be done
Hi guys!
Im a very big fun of everything scifi especially Transformers. Liked the first and loved the second (Friend cried when Optimus died).
Charactet wise, definetily more but I would love to see Vector Prime come in (possibly endin up leading the Autobots) and maybe even Unicron, however if they do then I think Decepitocons and Autobots should join forces and maybe even reactivite Unicron’s so called ‘Brother’ from one cartoon series (cybertron itself). that would mean travellin to cybertron.
I dont think the Dinobots should get envolved cause then that would prove a little difficult when it comes to explain how they ‘hide in plain sight’ (Dinosuars died out) although the bots from Beast Wars would be a better idea (and maybe even make as they have been here ages)
The revenge of the fallen looks great, and it was rumoured that there was a third Transformers movie before the first hit theaters. I’ll be looking forward to seeing both.
Transformers 3 should have more of soundwave, he’s such a renegade. Optimus’ll die again in the third, but passes the matrix onto hotrod like in the cartoon movie. ultra magnus has to be in it aswell! megatron kills starscream and cyclonus steps up to the plate. galvatron cooould come into it just won’t work unless there is a unicron, which prob won’t work
or what if someone like shockwave comes and overthrows megatron? would make a good opening for a reborn galvatron. or maybe the quintessons come into in and the autobots and decepticons must join forces. pretty much the only way to keep the Transformers 3 movie fresh is to go in the direction of the cartoon movie
In the next Transformers movie I would like to see Hot Rod,Blurr,Breakaway,Galvatron,Unicron,Grimlock,Snarl,Swoop,Hot Shot, and Chromia because she was the only Arcee twin that didn’t die. Also maybe Prowl and I know this seems stupid but I heard the paradronians. Also they could bring in Jazz again and other cybertronians.
