A serial killer who keeps a tally of his victims by scarring himself. He slits their throats and leaves them in lifelike poses. He went insane after his parents died and he lost his fortune to the Penguin in a Casino. While trying to kill himself he was mugged by a homeless man with a knife – he turned the weapon on him and started a murder spree to ‘relieve people from the futility of life’.

Well I thought harley quinn would tie into joker but….if they tried to recast Heath Leadger and put her in the sequel I would not go see the 3rd. But I really am going for riddler he is the character
Ok, I’ve said this on other forums before. Heres my beliefs and idea’s behind Batman 3.
Nolan has a very realistic vision of Batman(which makes them so great unlike the Tim Burton series). So far he has used the not so big villains and the realistic villains. Ras al Ghul was just a man who wanted to destroy Gotham, the Scarecrow was just Ras al Ghul’s pawn, a man who used physiatric drugs as a weopon. The Joker was just a mad man who wanted to create havoc in Gotham with large scars and wore make up, Two-Face was a politician(Harvey Dent) gone bad after a horrific accident and the loss of his fiancee.
So, that leaves a wide variety of characters. Firstly, Aaron Eckhart is signed to 2 movies, meaning he will almost surely be back in the 3rd one, which only makes sence because Two Face is such a large character to kill off so quickly. Not to mention he has was never clearly killed in the Dark Knight, only dropped off a building and a showing of Harvey Dents funeral, which could symbolize that Harvey IS dead, but Two Face still lives. So, almost surely Two Face will be the main villain of Batman 3.
Then, the biggest choice in my eyes for a new villain will be the Riddler. They could easily set him up to not be a menacing joke like Jim Carey made him, and create vision much as they did for the Joker in the Dark knight with Heath Ledger, a much darker version. My idea would be since Batman is now being hunted by the police, have Edward Enigma a crime investigator(since the Riddler did help solve crimes from time to time also) who is brilliant and used to solving crimes, slowly become obsessed with finding the identity of Batman… eventually leading himself down the path of the other main villain, most likely Two Face, leading him to find out the identity of Batman, turning into his alter ego, the Riddler. Which would also lead to Two Face and the Riddler menacing Gotham, and unraveling Harvey Dents the true killer, bringing Batman back to fight the duo.
Nolan has a liking for the less known villains though, which could bring Talia al Ghul into the mix, who comes to Gotham to complete her fathers work and get revenge on Batman, eventually leading her to Two Face, who will help reek havoc. Or vice versa, leading her to the Riddler who also offers her help in finding Batmans identity. This would also offer the first female villain in the series, but Batman 3 is to be the final in the series, so if Talia is used, they would have to create one hell of a story and action scenes for it.
They could be lame, and just use the over used and over rated Catwoman(seriously, we’ve seen here enough.) But in my opinion, it would be too much for Nolans version, seeing as they took a whole movie(Batman Begins) to explain why Batman does what he does and dresses like a bat. Another vigilanty/villain dressed as an animal would be just too much and too unrealistic.
And lastly they wont use Mr Freeze I doubt because he is an unrealistic villain , freezing people with a gun and having ice cold blood. Same with Poison Ivy and her poison blood and kisses, and control of plants. Bane COULD be created realistically if they made him just a big guy who was locked away in prison, who is released by the other villain to help fight Batman, but he’d have to look alot different and be much more realistic. And the Penguin could be used if they made him into a crime/mafia boss who gains control of the city, attempting to turn it against Batman, who doesnt look like an actual Penguin, maybe just a large scar on his face, or just always wears a Tux or something . And instead of a short fat guy, make him more like the King Pin or Lex Luther, a powerful man who wants to kill Batman.
These are my opinions, lets see how the actual movie turns out.
I hope for Poison Ivy and Riddler, but I have feeling they will put Penguin in next one…
I think it will be the Riddler, and BAIN, or CLAYFACE

The Mad Hatter (along with an Alice in wonderland Gang), Clayface, Riddler, Two-face returns, Possibly Joker, at least as a cameo.

I thnk dey sh0uld bring harley quin wh0 will help da joker get out of arkum but as a minor story. But da riddler nd two face will b da main character becuase tw0 face didnt die. Dey c0uld als0 hav a fight between da villians 4 g0tham city dat il b k00
i would have to say 2- face and hush. maybe even deadshot and killer croc
Ok my pick although the way nolan is going i dont see it happening but i would love to see the riddler and hush or the mad hatter and clayface. honestlyu clay face wouldbe my pick along with the riddler but i dont see it happening becase im afraid that the riddler role would get portrayed more like the joker role in the dark knight and with nolans interpretation of batman i dont see him doing clayface because its not realistic
oh yeah what eve happened to raz al ghul cause um hes so not dead has everyone forgot the lazaruz pit??
I think they can really do some amazing things with the riddler and bane, I hope they will. I heard they might use Depp as the Riddler… That could be quite good, but I really hope they will leave catwoman, mr freeze, poison ivy, robin, and the penguin, etc. out, they’re all so crappy. Riddler, Joker, Bane, Black Mask, Anarky, Hush, and so many others are sick as to use and I hope they will. But I have complete faith in Christian Bale.
The penguin might make the best villain as he is among the few batman villains who is fully sane. While i’m ok with two-face being dead, he’d probably make a great supporting villain, killing people on either side of the law with his coin. The penguin should be some sort of crime lord, and in his employ could be Riddler, Clayface, and either Mad Hatter or Professor Strange, or even both.
i think the riddler will be in it, but he’ll be a mystery serial killer leaving cryptic deaths…unless thats TOO dark…s’a good concept though
Oh, and i think Commissioner Gordon will have an affair like he does in year one cos it’s hinted at loads in the dark knight i.e. when two-face is pointing the gun at his wife etc., when he’s on the roof with the other detective
did anyone else hear the rumour of Daniel Day-Lewis as the Joker in the next film? it could kinda work…he’s a good enough actor and the beauty of Heath Ledger’s Joker is that it looks and sounds nothing like Heath Ledger…even if he’s left the definitive and lasting version of the Joker. As long as Day-Lewis imitated the role he’s been left which i think he would given his respect of Heath Ledger from his there will be blood Oscar speach
Think if he uses the riddler and he’s keeping himself a mystery, they might do a Hannibal-type thing with using the Joker to catch him.
FINALLY i think Two Face will be alive incarcerated in secret but really twisted and distorted physically because of the fall at the end, really bitter and crippled…
Two words – CLAY FACE! Well… his name is really just Clayface but that doesn’t stop him from being one of the best characters they haven’t used yet. And if they DO use him it’ll have to be a male model (to stay true to the story) AND he’ll have to be able to kick serious ass. Jason Stathem would be perfect.
I’m thinking Mr. Freeze and The Penguin, the greatest villains except of course for the Joker. There will definitely be a plot including the Joker as well
