In the case of movie stars, it’s their last film that’s released months after they are buried/cremated/blasted into space. Cinema provides a form of immortality, and watching these farewell movies really is like seeing a ghost on screen.
Heath Ledger and Bernie Mac were not the first. Here are Movie-Moron’s top ten actors who didn’t live to see their final movie, based on a scale of plain old bad luck.
10. John Candy: 1950 – 1994
A brilliant comedic actor with a sensitivity about his weight, John Candy was apparently taking steps to improve his health in his later years. But it was too little too late. At the age of 43, Candy fell asleep and never woke up again; he suffered a heart attack whilst on location filming Wagon’s East! on March 4th, 1994. A body double was used to finish the movie and it was released that summer. John Candy’s last completed film was Michael Moore’s Canadian Bacon, which came out the following year.
Um… Heath Leger anyone??? died half way through the making of his last film. Luckily they had finished filming all of his parts so they still ran the movie

Bruce Lee nor his son Brandon Lee was killed by a curse. They were killed by the Chinese Mafia, the “Triads.” The “friend” who gave Bruce Lee the pill was also his female co-star and he was also having an affair with her while he was married to Linda. Bruce had issues with the triads since he was a kid, he never bowed down to them nor give in to their demands, when he was 14 he beat up the triads leaders sons, the animosity stayed with the triads. Bruce never let the triads control him mentally, physically, psychologically nor give in to their extortions. Since the triads couldn’t control him nor extort him they took him out. That is why his death is shrouded in mystery its all being covered up by powerful hi. See people in the WEST do not know this, but people in the EAST been knowing this over 20 years.
Heath Ledger died during filming of “The Dark Knight.” After that, his final film, Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” was released Christmas of the same year. Ledger died during filming so within the film’s plot, every time he entered Dr. Parnassus’ fantasy world, he was replaced by Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell.
And then a latecomer to the list. Whitney Huston who died before the remake of “Sparkle” was released.
