10.10.08 # Sequel # 374 CommentsWhen this post was first published we were looking at the potential villains for Spider-Man 4. Then Sony pulled the plug on Tobey Maguire and turned it into a Spider-Man reboot. But the question remains the same – who are the villains in the next Spider-Man going to be?
Here’s a picture gallery of the options (that haven’t been used yet), with a short explanation of who they are.
The villain line-up includes Carnage, The Lizard, Black Cat, Electro, The Vulture, Mysterio, Man-Wolf, and many more. With the number of (non-silly) possibilities shrinking, don’t be surprised if the new movie includes a couple of the lesser known, but potentially more interesting, enemies.

Which villains would you like them to choose?
Dr. Connors was Parker’s tutor in the last three movies. In the comics he accidentally transforms into the Lizard when he tries to regrow his missing arm with a reptilian serum. The result is thick scaly skin, a deadly bite and the ability to communicate with other reptiles. The Lizard is defeated by prolonged cold.

i say it has to be carnage, he was always an unstoppable spiderman villian and would be a brilliant followup to venom from the third. althoug the sotry of how the cerial killer became carnage would have to be a little different i say it would make a brilliant move. carnageis spidermans strongest opponent and i’m not beign byast in saying that, he was the strongest. the lizard would be good but with him, you can easily throw carnage in
It would not be logical to put lizard in the new amazing spiderman because dr conners is already in the others as a human so the storyline would not work.Neither would carnage because he is the knd of villain you would leave for the end at the last fight. Just a thought
I’m sure in the Amazing Spider-man it will be lizard and carnage.

I know that Venom seems dead but I think that he escapes. So I believe that it will be Venom, Carnage, and Lizard
Carnage is one of spiderman’s deadliest foes….if tobey mcguire is put back on the screen again, and the next spiderman does good on ratings. it might be best to use carnage later on, but if the producers want spiderman role on the big screen to start dying down, then it’s best to use carnage since us who grew up reading spiderman know how deadly he is….
