First Skyfall Poster

Skyfall poster
Pah! Back in the day, Bond movie posters were kaleidoscopic cavalcades in two-dimensional form. Leggy ladies, bombastic explosions and maybe even the delicately cocked eyebrow of Roger Moore, those one-sheets of yesteryear had a chaotic charm sadly not found in modern 007 posters. Case in point: new Bond movie Skyfall, for which an adequately slick teaser poster has just been launched.

First Pic From New Bond Movie ‘Skyfall’

Picture From New James Bond Movie Skyfall
What do we know about the new 007 flick so far? Well, Skyfall is not directly related to the events of Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace. Judi Dench is back as M and the story will revolve around the sins of her past catching up with the whole of MI6. Naomie Harris is the main Bond girl, Eve, a field agent who some people seem to think is Moneypenny. Ben Whishaw is playing a 30-something Q. Javier Bardem will be the villain.

Classic 007 Character Returning For Bond 23

Miss Moneypenny Back In Bond 23
Having seen off just about every conceivable life-threatening scenario known to man and a few more besides, it looked like a good old-fashioned cash shortage might finally do what Blofeld, Goldfinger and all those other jerks couldn’t, and bury James Bond. Happily for the super-spy’s multitude of fans, the resolution of MGM’s monetary woes has put Bond 23 very much back on track, and the latest news is that director Sam Mendes is exhuming one of the old guard for his entry into the 007 cinematic cycle.

Javier Bardem Offered Bond Villain Role

James Bond 23 - Villain Casting
Javier Bardem played one of the most memorable villains of recent times in No Country For Old Men. Now Sam Mendes has offered him an antagonist role in the new Bond movie (still untitled). Bardem, who is notoriously difficult when it comes to commiting to a film (according to the LA Times) has said he wants to read the script first, but that it would be hard to turn down.

“I’m a huge fan of the James Bond saga,” he said. “When I was little, I went watching Mr. Connery doing James Bond with my father. Who in the world would think I’d be in one of those movies?”

Bond 23 Finally Gets Release Date

Bond 23 Release Date
All is back in order in the world of James Bond. We already knew that there was at least going to be another film in the series, but now it has been given an official release date of November 9, 2012. Bond’s future had been in some doubt due to MGM’s financial troubles; however, following MGM’s exit from bankruptcy at the end of last year, pre-production commenced on what will be the 23rd film in the series.

Bond 23 Eyeing 2012?

Bond 23 Rumors
Well, it would seem that the seemingly eternal wait for the next Bond film is almost at an end. MGM’s financial quagmire is almost at an end. The biggest question, though, is whether or not director Sam Mendes is still on board.

According to ex-wife Kate Winslet, he is. In an informal (note: keyword here is informal) chat with the Daily Mail, Winslet revealed that, if all goes well, she’ll be moving over to England with the kids to support her ex-husband during production.
