I really don't like Nicholas Cage.  Maybe because almost all his movies kinda suck (except for National Treasure and the one where he was the angel that fell in love).
But for the most part, he likes to act in "weird" movies. I digress. Anyways, Saint Nick is back this time in an action move called Bangcock Dangerous.  He plays the role as a hit man who travels to Bang-Cock to off 4 guys for some crime boss. He has 4 rules. Never get attached to  someone, never leave a trace of yourself behind (meaning kill the person that helps you) and 2 others which I forget. He hires this street guy to be his personal gopher between the crime boss and himself (they are not supposed to see each other. Bad for business). Somewhere between kills 1 and 3, Saint Nick has a change of heart so to say. I guess he gets disgusted with killing and wants to lead a normal life, so he breaks his 2 rules. Now you know when that happens, it can only spell doom and it sure does.
Pretty soon he is pitted up against the crime boss.
So, why the B? Well, this is one of those "been there, done that" movies. At least do something original if you are going to go that route. And, I don't think Saint Nick really got into his character. I was trying to believe that he was some cold hearted-hitman, but I couldn't. He just didn't fit the part. Don't get me wrong though, there are a lot of good action sequences, but I left the theater feeling like there should have been more.  BD is not  a bad movie. I'd watch it if there was nothing else on. And I would consider it a date movie insomuch as there is some romance there and the violence and visual gore is not over the top like some other movies. Plus, for some reason, women like Saint Nick.  Definitely a rental, but I would also pay to watch this movie (matinee price only) IF there was nothing else on worth watching.

Welcome back Stinking Bob.

Yeah it just looked so been-there-done-that. The trailer was dull, and that's fatal. Get the feeling it's probably better than the trailer suggests.

Nicolas Cage needs to make less movies, and choose more carefully - like he used to.

Funny, it's true what you say about a lot of women liking Cage. He's the only actor my sister goes out of her way to see. Not sure why.

Hey Sheridan,
Yeah, Cage has some kind of sex appeal. I wanted to see the Animated Star Wars flick, but my gf wanted to see Cage. Go figure. Still can't see what the hell is the attraction to this guy. I mean, in the movie, he looks like JohnTravolta's character in pulp fiction with his hair hanging down like that.  Saint Nick could be a great actor if he took roles that were better.  Imagine Mr. Bean as an action-movie star. It just wouldn't work. Oh well.

I beg to differ, my friend. I read this sentence and have now planned my career: talking Rowan Atkinson into doing this flick.

Lol, if Mr. Bean were in an action movie, it would be a no-talk, all action movie!
"My name is Bean. Mr. Bean" Oh wait, he can't say that cuz he doesnt talk.
