Anyone notice the recurring trend in those topics?

Yeah thats crazy, but I think the reason why there are so many comments on those topics on the other part of the site (besides the fact that everyone is obsessed with the sequels) is because at the bottom there is an option where people can leave comments and it is pretty clear that anyone can leave a comment.  As for this part of the site it appears that only members can and do leave comments, well thats at least how I would take it.  Most sites forum you cant leave comments unless you register.

Registering before you comment on a forum is normal, and only takes a few seconds. If that was removed there would be a tidal wave of spam, a huge problem for websites like this.

What I don't get are the literally hundreds of people who have joined the forum, then never left a single comment. What's the point??

I agree I went to 1 topic couldn't post and joined, and have been posting as often as possible since. I love this site no reason to just look when you can get involved!
