Haha, wonder who that could be.  Usually I hate remakes, and Platinum Dunes, but there's something about this one that seems promising!

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it, it's just I feel the events of part 1 have been sorely overlooked in favour of playing it safe.

I'm hoping the filmmakers have decided the later sequels were too tame so they're gonna make it brutal again.  That's the impression they've given... fingers crossed.

I'm really hoping we get to see a death similar to the sleeping bag one.  That was absolutely priceless.

IS that when he traps her in the sleeping bag and swings it against the tree? I love that.

My friend has a good idea for a horror flick, so I mandated she watch the classics. She just viewed the original Friday the 13th and asked me, "was that ending supposed to be serious?"

If this remake loses old lady vs. virgin cat fight on the beach, I'm totally OK with that.

That fight on the beach is like my favorite part of the original.

I really enjoyed PD's remake of TTCM, that said there stabs at The Hitcher and Amyitville were dire. I do like the look of this but as more info emerges the less confident i am that its going to be anything other than another bunch of models get slaughtered movie.

Thats what Friday The 13th's main characteristics, was slashing models! Trust me though, thats not going to be the film, I have a good feeling that Derek Myers is going to deliver a badass Jason!
