My friend auditioned for this. Said it was a bad, over-the-top melodramatic script. If it was any good it would be in the running for the Oscars, as it's clearly aimed at that. The fact they aren't pushing it now the film is done speaks volumes.

Yeah it does look dramatic. (over the top) 
But did you see Running Scared? I loved that film!






Trust me its a good flick, despite any thoughts you have of Paul Walker, he does a good job in this movie.

I have seen Running Scared, funnily enough. I expected to really dislike it, and there were awful parts, but overall it had won me over by the end. It showcased what an under-estimated actor Paul Walker is. His was a very solid performance, my respect for him went up a lot.

Ha I am totally on the same page as you, I thought that the movie wasnt going to be very good. I mean witht the whole qoute from some journalist that they used to promote the film, "Makes Kill Bill look like Sesame Street" I was like WTF? But overall, it was a good film and it too made my respect for Paul walker go up! Thats why I have hogh hope for Crossing Over.

That is a very strange quote, it has no similarity whatsoever to Kill Bill. And Kill Bill is far more bloody anyway.

Yeah thats what i thought when I saw it. Kill Bill and Running Scared are two totally different types of films, and like you said Kill Bill is way more bloodier!
