Well Platinum Dunes keeps steam rollering on with the Friday 13th remake and The Unborn both divvying up some trailers, pics and posters in the last few days it was only a matter of time before the Dennis Quad starrer reared its head.

This time out Quad plays a recently widowed Police Detective who discovers a shocking connection between the suspects in a serial killing that is linked to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and himself.

Personally i like Quad, he has an everyman persona that makes him more believable in most of his roles, so lets hope for good things. Click the link for the full gallery.

Sheridain you effin said it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You know this was the reason I came to this site. Megan the girl who used to do videos for the site reffered me here, I am so glad she did, cause this forum is lioke crack to me.  I have been so curious to when this film was being released, It has been done for a while now. I believe this will be one of there best films. I read and article that was interviewing Fuller, and he stated that this film almost didnt get made because they didnt think that they could pull it off. the said the script was so powerful that they didnt think that they could deliver a movie that matched up with it. I am so glad that they went ahead and made this project. Dennis Quiad and Eric Balfour are two good actors and I think this movie will be great!

Does anyone know the USA theater release date on this?

Thanks a mill for posting this topic up!!!!! I have been waiting to here some news on this movie for some time now!

You're welcome T.Ross, it does make me smile how big a PD fan you are but then thats what makes this world of ours so interesting  Smiley

I think Quad also has a lot to offer the horror genre, he's still got mainstream in him but i keen to see him really explore his dark side which he started to with Cold Creek Manor, although that was more thriller than horror.

Has anyone seen the deleted ending that's on the Cold Creek Manor dvd? It's one of the hilariously misjudged scenes I've ever witnessed. Mike Figgis (the director) pretends to be a reporter and interviews Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone, in character, about what they've just 'lived through' during the film. It's all improv and truly embarrassing to watch.

Thanks again, most people hate PD so much they wouldnt even care to post anything about them unless it was bad.

Hahaha no i haven't seen that ending, surley it was done for laughs Sheridan mate?

T.Ross, I'm not a huge fan as i think they started out going great guns with the TCM remake and then went steadily down hill for me, but in all fairness at least they're out there producing horror movies and giving a new audience to some of the classic genre flicks we all love, so i'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt till they starte producing tosh Smiley

Yeah they are honestly problay making some of the better horror movies these days, I very excited about the future non-remake films set to come out. I think that the Unborn will shock alot of people, I think the film has alot more to offer than the trailer shows!
