The Day the Earth Stood Still (B-) (quick review)

Rent it.

Keanu is brilliant casting.

The opening is commanding, very creepy.

The ending is this: Klaatu watches Jennifer Connelly hug a black child in Arlington Cemetary, in front of the gravestone for an Iraqi soldier. He tears up and decides it's alright if we destroy the planet.

Yeah. It's crap. Oh, and there's too much boring CGI, as usual. Yeah Fox, you go boy.

Ha, yes rent it! Its one of those movies where all the cool stuff is shown on the trailer. The Wolverine trailer on the big screen, worth it though!
