Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 - Man was it overlong. What is the logic behind making it nearly 3 hours if it's a family popcorn film? Wouldn't it make sense to have it 1 hr 45, leave the audience wanting more? You could also fit more screenings in a typical day, and make more money?
Jason X - Pulled it off the shelf to see if it was as bad as I remembered. It was. The music in particular is absolutely awful. Henry Manfredini hasn't kept up with modern composing. And why oh why did David Cronenberg agree to be in it, was he high?
Two Oscar contenders there.

Jason Goes to Hell - Sweet Jeebus, this series was SO dead at this point. Not funny nor scary, only boring. Manfredi (SP?)'s score is SO annoying, Jason's hardly in it, and they spend so much time with the lame Halloween plot rip off that they forget to KILL PEOPLE!
Supernatural - not a movie, but so far the first four episodes are fantastic. An exorcism at 40,000 feet? How is this show on the WB network, it's fantastic!

Why were you watching Jason Goes To Hell?
Was it for the Jason vs. Freddy vs. Michael series? We're going to post that in the first week of next month, did you ever find the missing chapter?

Urban Legend We had an hour and a half to waste before class, so we popped this in. Not a terrible slasher flick, but certainly not that great. The female lead kind of runs around the whole time being all mopey, just because people are dying and all that jazz. This woman just couldn't handle the high stress of being the final girl in a horror movie. Some of the deaths are pretty creative, and if nothing else it'll make you go "but that urban legend is totally true".
Zombie I wanna say gratuitous describes this movie pretty well. It's an enjoyable zombie flick for fans of the genre, but anyone who doesn't like schlocky stuff like that won't care. Boobs and blood fly everywhere.
Tokyo Gore Police An excellent, if not completely horrible, Japanese exploitation flick that makes Machine Girl look like Cinderella. Great for a group watch or even a drunk watch, do not watch this alone or with hard-asses.

Yep. I'm working on them now. God, Jason Goes to Hell was awful.
I'm watching Halloween Resurrection now ... it's worse.
I'll have them done in two weeks.

Jason Goes To Hell is my least favorite film of that series, Halloween Resurrection was terrible too, I dont really like any Halloween film without Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence). I have really been wanting to see Toyko Gore Police, I might check that out! But so far this week I've watched (movie wise)... Imprint I guess this movie was banned from cable brodcast, and I defintley see why!!!!!!!! This movie is problay the most messed film I have EVER seen! But I liked it. Hard To Kill This movie just makes me laugh so much, the one liners all the way to the major ass kickin, early 90s Segal movies are the best! Dark City This movie was very different from normal sci-fi flicks, but it was good. Clerks This movie is great in so many ways! The Wackness I really enjoyed this movie, alot different from what I expected, I encourage all to see this movie! Wizard of Gore This movie is STUPID!!!!!! Dont watch! Well thats it so far, the week is only half over, I still got more to watch! -T.ROSS PRODUCTIONS

Wow T. Ross you watched a hell of a lot of movies. I wanna see Mirrors just saw a trailer for the dvd a few days ago. Ok here is what I watched, not too exciting im afraid.... Inspector Lynley Mysteries: A Great Deliverance Its actually a tv show but this episode ran 3 hours so its more of a movie to me, its a great show im completely hooked and watched it a lot this week. Hamlet I love Shakespeare but cant really read the plays because I get too pissed off trying to figure out whats going on so I love this version of Hamlet, its fairly cut down and easy to understand and only 2 hours in comparison to Kenneth Branaghs 4 hour version (he played a great Iago in Oliver Parkers Othello). Mel Gibson wasn't a bad Hamlet.... The Assassination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Frost I cant really say if the movie was good or not because I fell asleep and it took 2 days to finish. Kind of boring but interesting, some really nice scenery. I was unimpressed with Brad Pitt.

Tyler I've just realised what an amazing title 'Tokyo Gore Police' is.
I just watched the second half of The Firm on tv. It was pretty amusing because, without the first half build up, Tom Cruise was inexplicably pale and sweaty with fear while everything else around him was totally normal. He acted so suspiciously in every scene where he had something to hide - mopping his brow, eyes darting left and right - how no one would think he was hiding something is extraordinary.

Oh yeah, the title is brilliant, and the movie which follows might be considered genius, but I'm still not entirely sure of what I watched. My roommate and I just kind of stared at the screen once it ended and both of us asked "what the hell just happened?"
But I can say I also saw My Bloody Valentine this week. It definitely was a fun time at the theater. Great crowd, fantastic movie, and all in glorious 3D. I'd recommend seeing this to everyone who is even remotely interested. Just make sure you see it at a time when the theater will be crowded.

Paul Blart Mall Cop It wasnt that bad, I kind of got dragged to this movie, go see this one with the family My Bloody Valentine 3D This movie was awesome, full of blood and gore, it was a 3d ride to hell! An American Crime I didnt like this movie because it was too sad, not because it was bad, just because it was sad! Burn After Reading I love this movie, it is so funny to me! The Alphabet Killer This movie was really good, a good psychological thriller! Well thats it for now, I will get back to you when I get some more under my belt! -T.ROSS PRODUCTIONS

Mall Cop looks so awful to me. It just seems like they probably wrote it in a couple of hours without putting any effort in.
Even the tagline is lazy:
"Safety never takes a holiday."
Ok. Is the movie something to do with holidays? Do they mean the Christmas season? There's no evidence in the marketing of this being set during the holidays? So why make it your tagline?

I saw Blood Feast a few nights ago. It definitely delivered. Horrible acting and very primitive gore effects, perfect for a movie night. And it's only like one hour! No huge investment required for a guaranteed good time.

Creep - by the dude that directed and co-wrote Severance. Very flawed, needed another draft of the script, but still head and shoulders above more horror films. Great, simple premise. But tries for "realism" but is so caught up in horror cliche that it's inconsistant with rules of how the monster behaves, etc.
That's all I've had time for with all the Jason and Halloween movies I've been writing about. Apaloosa's been in my backpack for a week now, I'm looking forward to it.
Oh, and if you all can get Season 1 of Supernatural on DVD, I highly recommend it. Very clever and engaging, loved it. Don't let the network of McG's name scare you away!
