Casting is never an easy process at the best of times and Smith has written a great piece on his blog (
silentbobspeaks.com) about how stressful it was to see Rogen turn into a huge star over the summer, knowing it made the actor less and less likely to make the picture he wrote for him a year earlier. (At one point Smith was in a near fetal position moaning “If Seth Rogen doesn’t do this flick, I’m gonna make a real porno.”) If you're a fan of either of them, go and give it a read.
