Half-Blood Prince Posters Are Here!

The long-delayed posters for the long-delayed sixth Potter flick, which you may remember as Harry Potter and the Vicious Prison Gang Beating, are finally here and online. Let's check them out, shall we?







They certainly feel both dark and epic, given that each film is supposed to be "the darkest one yet". Maybe Deathly Hallows should just be a black page with the title?

Personally, the first one looks great. The look of concern on Dumbledore's face reflected in the famous glasses is great, and anyone who has read the book knows the reason why. The only thing that seems to be missing - doesn't Dumbledore have a messed up hand in the novel?

The top poster has a bad tagline, it's too much like "Here we go, once again, same old stuff."

Also, Harry Potter is wearing lipstick.

I wonder if the title is a reference to Prince Harry, who was reportedly fathered by James Hewitt.

Also, did anyone here wear the exact same glasses from the age of 8 to 18? Just wondering.

It's really interesting to see how the promotional art for the movies has darkened and matured just like the books did as they progressed.  It's kind of funny comparing the trailer to the first Harry Potter to the trailer for Half Blood.

The tagline is bad when taken as a separate, normal movie poster tagline. For followers of the movies and books, it's chill inducing.

Weird. Maybe it was so horrible they cut it to keep the PG rating.
