Zach Snyder says no more Watchmen sequels from his end.....

Poor Zack Snyder. Yeah, he's a millionaire director who gets to take on all kinds of cool projects, and yeah, Watchmen is finally getting released. But he's been through hell with the project from the very beginning, and now, just before the movie finally comes out, people won't stop asking him whether he'll bastardize the whole thing and make a sequel. It's happened at every panel, every press conference, everything, and it happened again in a New York Times interview recently. Snyder told them what he's said before: Warner Bros. owns the rights, and they may decide to do something, but he won't be involved. "They can do whatever they want. They can make a movie." But he also seems confident that he's burned enough bridges in the story to make a sequel unlikely.

I think this sucks, poor guy has problay reallt been through hell and back with this movie.

Yeah good for him! But I have a feeling Warner Brothers will problay most likely push for a sequel. I mean with the already overwhelmed success from just the graphic novel itself, that just proves that there is a exsiting huge fan base. Also with all the hype for the film as it is already, this film will do huge at the box office, problay one of the biggest of 2009! So when films such as this have so much success and rake in the big bucks, Warner Brothers will problay want to go for seconds. But I dont blame Snyder at all, I mean he has gone through a world of shit getting this film ready to hit theaters, he is problay just glad it is all over.

Honestly, I'd happily watch a sequel. I can't pretend the comic is sacred to me, I'd never even heard of it.

I have never heard of it either, but as soon as I did it seemed that Barnes and Nobles had them every where!
