I've never been to Compton. The place I grew up in is nothing like Compton. In fact it's more like something out of a Disney movie.

But I can't stop listening to Gangsta Rap.

Here's my current favourite -

I am so angry at the cops right now.

I haven't got into Public Enemy yet, but I'm heading that way.

I do enjoy a bit of N. With Attitude.

Dr. Dre wasn't always as cool as you might think, check out this attire -

Maybe Dr. Dre thought it was cool.
Ice Cube has changed a little since then, too. Doing children films.
In my opinion, PE is the best rap group.

I like Eazy E a lot. The way he sings "Mothafuckaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" there is beautiful.

It gets brilliant at 2:40 - who is that white dude embarrassing himself?

I wish I could find the footage again but there was this great clip on YouTube of an Ice Cube concert in America, it pans over to the massive crowd, who are really into it, and every one of them is white.

The only time you can mix P and ice cream together and it works.

Nice find.

Yeah, I only really like the 90s stuff. And California Love was the one that got me started. I love the way the video has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Sheridan I've been a massive Gangsta rap fan for years, my guilty pleasure is Ice-T's theme from Colors
