For those among us who can't wait to see Johnny Depp weild blades for Tim Burton (er, again), this newly released featurette will bring the excitement up to 11.

All the Burton staples are in place - his missus, Helena Bonham Carter, the lavish costume and huge hair, the ever-impeccable production design - with the welcome additions of Alan Rickman and Sasha Baron Cohen and liberal doses of Foggy Olde London.

This should prove to be the ideal antidote to any syrupy festive releases... though Burton does reassure us that the studio have been informed of the levels of blood involved. Hurrah!
