The first poster for the Johnny Depp/Christian Bale period crime drama 'Public Enemies' has hit the internet.

Latino Review has the story
The film follows the story of legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Depp)—the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoover's fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public.
No one could stop Dillinger and his gang. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyone—from his girlfriend Billie Frechette (Cotillard) to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression.
It seems odd that they would release a poster with only one of their big name stars featured prominently, so expect the next poster to focus on Bale, that is unless the marketing people are steering clear of him for the time being due to the incident on the set of Terminator: Salvation. As for the film itself, I am reminded somewhat of The Untouchables and if this film is even half as good as that it will be well worth checking out, unfortunately I find Michael Mann as a director a little hit and miss, let's hope he's on Collateral form here.
