Even though it won't be out until May of '09 (and provided that the planet hasn't melted from Global Warming) James Cameron's 3-D sci-fi epic
Avatar is one of the most highly anticipated films since . . .
Okay, now before you go flooding Moviefone for advanced tickets I should tell you this movie does not exist and was done by someone with Photoshop and a cruel streak.
Getting back to the subject at hand,
Avatar involves a war veteran who is sent to a distant planet and clashes (not to mention hooking up with) its indigenous humanoid inhabitants. The concept art image below is that of one of such female creatures known as a Na'vi.
Needless to say, being a James Cameron movie, it'll feature cutting edge CGI and will most likely be the best 3-D movie since
Disco Dolls in Hot Skin.
The cast includes Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Matt Gerald, Giovanni Ribisi,
Joel David Moore, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, CCH Pounder, Michelle Rodriguez and Zoe Saldana.
