Yes. There is going to be
another movie based around the 'hilarious' antics of Ben Stiller and co. Right now, it's currently unknown whether the Stiller is going to sign on, but the movie has been given the green light and Pete Segal is in the director's chair. Segal is known for other comedies such as
50 First Dates,
The Longest Yard and
Get Smart.
Apparently Segal was going to direct
Get Smart 2, but Steve Carell went and signed on to Shawn Levy's
Date Night. You never know, he may even get to do both.
Is this movie a good thing? I personally didn't like either of the previous films, but then again, I'm not dressed in a suit, looking at a sheet of paper that tells me that the first movies grossed
$820 million.
