New Crank Clip

Latino Review have got their hands on an exclusive clip from the forthcoming Jason Statham actioner Crank 2, viewable here

While, obviously, this movie does not appear to take itself seriously (and it would be stupid for it to try to), I find it amazing how forgiving people are about its manifest awfulness. Dumb fun, yes, but there is genuine palpable excitement for this movie...there's totally a Jason Statham cult out there controlling people's minds.

That said, this short interview with Amy Smart gives you pretty much every reason you need to go see the film:

I have never saw the first Crank but after seeing the trailer for the new film, I kinda want to see this now! So I might watch the first one now, has anyone seen it? Can you give me an opinion?

i get the feeling this is better than either of the movies, or that it at least sums up the appeal

I heard that they have pulled advance press screenings for this flick, not a good sign.

Oh I hadn't heard that, hopefully the trades will have something, they often manage to get around such bans.

Yeah I'm sure they will, just doesn't bode well which is a shame as most of Stathams films are guilty pleasures for me
