Anybody rubbing themselves in anticipation of Tim Burton’s new “goth” (read: lots of dark colours) treat Sweeney Todd should check out the latest clips for it here.

Johnny Depp never fails to impress me and I am confident that he will be able to take a poor film and make it good, or a good film and make it great, I guess we will have to wait and see which category Sweeney Todd will fall into.  As well as Deep, Alan Rickman is also part of the cast, and that's a very good sign indeed.

A musical? Hmmm...interesting...I wonder if it'll be as good as the mighty Cannibal: The Musical! 

I don't normally pay much attention to musicals unless they happen to feature a Yellow Brick Road or Jets and Sharks...although Burton has decent pedigree in the genre with A Nightmare Before Christmas, so we shall see.
