That's exactly what Norman Bates says while having sandwiches with Marion. Not about Eli Roth, the hobby line. Better watch that.

i think a handsaw would do a great job cutting off a head while a person is still alive! better yet a hammer. i would rather bash your head in than just stabing you!

They do give you a warm feeling inside don't they? or is that the feeling of your own blood slowly leaking from the stump where your right arm used to be?  Wink

That warm feeling on the inside will soon be on the outside.

MOVIE TAGLINE! I claim it.   That SHOULD have been the tagline for My Bloody Valentine.

KILLER BEAR RESOURCE LIST

Okay, sound off.

I'm based in L.A. I own a Canon XH-A1 camera and have access to two Arri light kits. I have quite a few contact for manpower, etc, and quite a few years of screenwriting experience and schooling.

I also hate bears and it would be my honor to paint them as the psychotic killers they really are.

I feel there should be a scene where the kids knock down and destroy a big bees nest. We the audience know that someone in the shadows is very upset to have his source of honey taken away...

haha, I like it.

The opening kill needs to be some folks picnicking.

They should also, at some point, stumble upon an old abandoned genetics laboratory in the middle of the woods.

Ah yes and the lab just happens to be where they are trying to take all the strength and hunting skills of the bear and inject them into a human to make the perfect government assassin!

It was part of the war on terror, it's what Dick Cheney was really thinking about when he said the gloves were coming off. Obama signed an order to have it closed.

YES!

And the hero or heroine injects themselves with old, untested syrum to fight the bear.

They win, everything is fine, and s/he kisses her partner in a romantic final shot. She looks happily into his eyes ... then growls deeply like she's going to turn into a bear.

Seriously guys. Me and Tross will write it. Then we'll fly to England and we'll shoot it together. I think Epping Forest is a good location ...  Wink

MY co worker had some great ideas.

Serial killers always leave clues in movies. The bear could leave claw marks and berries, etc. Also, it coule be a cop and a park ranger trackiking him down, and they have to call in a "specialst" to get inside the mind of the killer. It's one of those naturalists that's been living in the woods observing grizzlies.

Also, he thought the series of victims could be women cooling pies on the window sills, and they keep finding destroyed "Pick i nick" baskets in the woods.

In all seriousness, there is talent/knowledge knocking around this forum that could be pooled, and I think if I gave this a permanent push on the front page in the column -

We're Making A Movie

John over at TheMovieBlog.com has just shot a low budget movie. But this would be a group effort headed up by Dalmatian Jaws.

I'm sure we'd all like to write scenes for it. Then we can keep all the best ideas. Basically do it the way Iron Sky did it, but on a smaller scale. With bears.

Dalmatian Jaws, how easy is wire work to do? There's nothing better than seeing people spinning off in the air if they're whacked by an animal.
