In all Honesty, what is the best mob movie ever made to watch? There are so many. Some are long, some are over the top, and some are cheesy. What is your pick for the #1 spot of best mob movie, and explain why.  |

Goodfellas is the best as far as I'm concerned. Godfather gets kudos for starting it all. Casino is underrated. Donnie Brasco had a great Pacino performance, not so much Depp.
Anyone going to say My Blue Heaven with Steve Martin and Rick Moranis?

enjoyed most of the mob movies i've seen...are there any truly horrible ones?
goodfellas, godfather and road to perdition are the ones that come to mind first. road to perdition i love for so many reasons, great cast, great performances, amazing cinematography...

I own Road to Perdition, and while I agree with all previous comments, something about it just rings false to me.
I've never seen Casino.
Godfather 3 is the only bad mob movie I've seen.

Wow, Casino is a great film. You really should see it. Some of the casting is too similar to Goodfellas, but that aside, it's Scorsese at his best.

Its the sweet revenge of farting in your brothers face.
But in all honesty, i think the best mob movie is Goodfellas. It was a hard choice to make becasue there are so many. Resivor dogs is a good one i love, and same with the godfathers. But all in all, Goodfellas had some great things about it. Casino is amazing, but it is super long. Goodfellas is just a great plot with great writing.
