'Castlevania' takes a trip to development hell

Well, we all saw it coming. Paul W.S Anderson's long gestating Castlevania adaptation has finally hit the skids. 'Stomp the Yard' director Sylvain White was going to take the reigns, but it seems that the script by Anderson and Ian Jeffers has been passed on, and nobody seems particularly interested in picking it up.

Maybe it's the trend of no single video-game adaptation being particularly good, or maybe Anderson's mysterious mojo with studios has finally run out. Either way, don't expect to see Castlevania on your screen anytime soon.

Yeah I read this the other day...I still hope they end up doing a film to this....with the right producers and directors, this could be a big hit!
