Hahaha that's priceless! It's just soooo cartoony, i mean they pretty much have his features but surely they could see that it looked naff close up and as you say why on earth is he now Gigantor?

Animators call it the Uncanny Valley. Either you stay cartoony on purpose and let the audience project onto them (Incredibles, Advent Children) or you go super photo realistic, which thus far has bombed (Beowulf, Polar Express, this, among others).

Anywhere inbetween looks unsettling. I can't believe that was greenlit. I mean, it's so pointless, create another Terminator. OR, since it's BEFORE, pick a lookalike that's younger. Who gives a shit. It's not Arnold when it's a cartoon, so why gripe about a live action look-alike?

To be fair to it, I haven't seen T4 on the big screen and sometimes fx on youtube work a lot better blown up huge on the big screen. Has anyone here seen the film, how does it look?
