Metal Gear Solid movie poster?

A mysterious poster of the even more mysterious film adaptation of the video game Metal gear Solid has emerged. According to the almost certainly fake poster, the film is set to star Christian Bale and Daniel Craig who I assume would play Solid and Liquid Snake respectively. The film version of the game has been in the pipeline for quite some time but little has come of it so far. I think that if it does ever come into fruition it could break the age old curse of the video game to movie crossover. Terrible efforts over the years have included the Tomb Raider films and the hilariously bad Super Mario Bros.

Anyone who has ever played Metal Gear Solid will know it has got one of the most intricate and confusing narratives ever to be seen in a video game. In fact it was one of the first video games to fully embrace the cinematic possibilities of the cut scene, blurring the lines between the two forms of entertainment in the process. This was taken to new heights with the most recent instalment of the series, Metal Gear Solid 4, which contained over 5 hours worth of cut scenes. Take it from a geek who watched every minute of them, they’re not worth your time!

Yeah I think I was being a bit too generous when I said "almost certainly fake". I reckon the guy from Lost, Josh Holloway would make an amazing Solid Snake.
