Sandra Bullock rom-com vehicle The Proposal shot to number one last Friday, taking out comedy rivals Year One and The Hangover.

The movie - where two complete opposites fall in love (HA! BRILLIANT!) - claimed a mighty $12 million opening gross and became Bullock's biggest ever opening. It should also go on to gain $30 million over the weekend.

Year One scraped into second place with $8.5 million, beating The Hangover into third with $8.4 million - which, in its third week, is pretty incredible.

Pixar's Up pulled in another $6 million, in fourth place, breaking the $200 million dollar mark overall, the second film this year to do so (after Star Trek).

Fifth place went to The Taking of Pelham 123 with $3.2 million.

If I could draw myself looking this good... I would draw a lot of things better.
